Browser use
“Open GitHub and find the Surfingkeys commits.” It follows the links it can see, checks each step, and stops when it has actually arrived — not when it thinks it has.
Find anything. Open anything. Browse, code, build, and get things done across your computer — instantly and on the go.
Type a sentence — the routing is the app's own. The machine it answers about is invented, because a web page cannot open yours.
What it does
Most launchers open things. JevCast opens things and then keeps going — through the browser, through an application's own controls, through System Settings — and tells you when it is done.
“Open GitHub and find the Surfingkeys commits.” It follows the links it can see, checks each step, and stops when it has actually arrived — not when it thinks it has.
It reads the accessibility tree of a running application and presses, sets, or types into the control the sentence meant. Works in apps that never shipped an API.
Hold the key and talk. The model runs locally and stays loaded, so it is instant and nothing you say leaves the machine.
“Turn on night shift.” It drives System Settings' own search rather than keeping a list of panes, so there is no setting someone forgot to wire up.
Tile a window to the left half, find a file, check what is eating the CPU, empty the trash. The ordinary things, without the ceremony.
Long jobs go to the background with their own line and a stop button. Ask three things at once; each one reports back on its own.
Install
The installer works out what system it is on, tells you what is missing before it changes anything, installs the palette, and starts it. The same panel on all three — not a plugin in somebody else's launcher.
A native palette on Option-Space, with on-device dictation.
Download .dmgThe same palette, in GTK. Bind it to whichever key your compositor likes.
Install with shAlt-Space, driven by PowerShell. No compiler and no SDK — Windows already ships what it needs.

About the download. This build is signed ad-hoc rather than with a paid Apple certificate, so the first launch shows “unidentified developer”. Right-click the app and choose Open, once. The installer script avoids this entirely, and it is also what sets up dictation.
From your phone
The same panel, on your phone, driving the machine at your desk. Hold, speak, release — it runs there and answers here.
Worth being straight about. The phone is a remote, not the target: it drives your computer, and the link that does it is a credential you should treat like a password. On Android the same architecture could drive the phone itself, because Android exposes an accessibility service. iOS does not offer third-party apps anything equivalent, so an iPhone can be the remote but not the thing controlled — and this page is not going to pretend otherwise.

The launcher runs entirely on your machine, and stays free there. A paid tier exists only for the parts that cost someone money to run.
